12:0 – Wallern celebrated the biggest win in Upper Austria League history

Never before have more than eleven goals been scored in a game in the highest league in the state – the SPG Wallern/St. Marienkirchen did it: Against bottom ATSV Stadl-Paura, the Trattnachtal team celebrated a 12-0 win.

Coach Horst Haidacher’s team was already 3-0 up after eleven minutes and the score was 8-0 at the break. In the second half, the home side added four more goals and made the dozen full.

Stadl-Paura has already conceded 100 goals

Striker Oliver Affenzeller alone scored half of all goals with six goals. Curious: Even Wallern’s reserve goalkeeper Andreas Horwath, who came on at half-time, was able to celebrate a goal: the 23-year-old scored from the penalty spot in the 68th minute.

Bottom Stadl-Paura also set a negative record: In the 14 rounds, the club has already conceded 100 goals.
