Lebenshilfe-Wohnhaus Braunau celebrates its 20th anniversary

In 2002, the fully supervised Lebenshilfe residential building opened on Jubilee Street. 13 residents have been there since day one and were especially honored at the celebration with printed cushions and cups.

As early as 1988, Lebenshilfe opened the first residential building for people with intellectual disabilities in Braunau – at Kolpingplatz. In 2002 we moved to the newly built residential building on Jubilee Street. A semi-supervised residential group then opened in the residential building at Kolpingplatz. There are currently 32 people with intellectual disabilities living in the Lebenshilfe residential buildings in Braunau.

Together with the 35 employees, the residents in Jubilee Street are a tight-knit team. “Although we are so different, we get along really well and are a big community,” says Marc Wimmer. Due to the consistency, the relatives are also good friends. We are currently looking for three employees for support and care with different hours. Lateral entrants are also welcome, information on Tel. 07722 62763.
