On Saturday this waiting will come to an end. The location of the ball is a very special one: Georg Katzlinger’s organization team chartered two Danube ships for the ball. Punctually at 7 p.m., the Danube ships “Linzerin” and “Kristallschiff” of the shipping company Wurm & Noé will depart from the Donausteg in Mauthausen and take the guests on a journey to the state capital.
On board, both the elegant-classic and the party ball-goers get their money’s worth. While the “Kristallschiff” is being played with dance music by the band “Intact”, a DJ on the “Linzerin” is heating up the guests. A change between the ships is always possible if they are at one of the two ship landing stages in Mauthausen or Linz.
The pre-sale was rapid: Except for 40 tickets at the “Kristallschiff” all tickets are sold out. Last-minute tickets can still be ordered at www.donauball.at.
