Kurt Fragner from Gallneukirchen was able to take home the day’s victory with 190 points. He won ahead of Hermann Manzenreiter from Bad Leonfelden and Gottfried Preuer from Oberneukirchen. 129 participants met for the royal strategy game and competed for valuable points for the cup. There was extensive tarocking on 32 gaming tables in the Stefansplatzerl.
The Tarockcup was a must for tarock fans from all over Upper Austria. They spent a leisurely afternoon playing games and at the same time supported the proKHRO association. “All of the net proceeds from the tournament benefit the maintenance of the Garden of Remembrance at the Rohrbach Clinic. It was a very successful event, and the feedback from our guests was consistently positive,” said Hermann Haselgruber, chairman of the association. In addition to cash prizes, the winners received delicious goods prizes from “Pressmayer’s finest natural garden”.
In the cup, Kurt Fragner leads ahead of Elfriede Wagner from Au/Donau and Hermann Manzenreiter from Bad Leonfelden. The next round will take place on Friday at 6 p.m. in the Eidenbergers inn in Eidenberg.
