The square next to the savings bank in the municipality of Neufelden was redesigned and made accessible to the public. This went back to an initiative of the Greens. Creating additional seating and meeting spaces in the village and thus strengthening togetherness is one of the items on the Green Neufelden agenda. For this purpose, the green area between the savings bank and the elementary school was designed in the last few months after consultation with the responsible persons of the savings bank, who made the space available, and the market community of Neufelden, provided with seating and attractive planting and made usable for the public. “The use of this beautiful square in the middle of the market contributes to the lively town centre. We are committed to making existing green spaces publicly accessible. We hope that this will make a contribution to Neufelden as a living space, and we would be delighted if the square were to be replaced by the population is actively used,” says Andreas Gahleitner, parliamentary group leader and spokesman for the community group.
