After the end of the 2022 season, it quickly became clear to the Gladiators Ried and the Rieder digital agency Monobunt that they wanted to continue the successful cooperation of the past few years. The contract extension with the main and name sponsor (UAFC Monobunt Gladiators Ried) was signed last week.
The contract runs for the next three championship seasons until the end of 2025. Since 2019, Monobunt has been the main sponsor of the footballers who play their home games in AFL Division 2 in the “Colosseum Noricum” (old Rieder stadium). “We are happy that we have had a strong supporter in Monobunt from the beginning of our history, who has helped us develop on the way to an established Austrian football team. It’s all the nicer that we’ve now been able to agree on extending the sponsorship contract,” says Markus Größlhuber, General Manager of the Gladiators.
“As a partner from the very beginning, we are delighted that Monobunt will be able to accompany the Gladiators on their way as the main sponsor for the next three years,” says Monobunt agency manager Gerald Emprechtinger and adds: “Within just a few years, the club has become an absolute Crowd puller and fixed star in the Rieder sports landscape and has already celebrated considerable success at national level. We are convinced that the Gladiators will continue on this path.” Up to 1000 fans come to the Gladiators’ games.
