“They came, smiled and cashed in” – this is how the OÖ Nachrichten summarized the visit of the Hollywood stars Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher in Upper Austria. On October 29, 2012, the former couple visited Plus City in Pasching to raise funds for their Demi and Ashton Foundation, which fights against sexual abuse and slavery.
The two actors landed in the morning with a private jet from Munich at Linz Airport in Hörsching. After that, they drove to the Hotel am Domplatz in Linz to recover until they left for the shopping center in the afternoon.
At Plus City, onlookers thronged to catch a glimpse of the glamor couple:

“The media interest was very great when Demi Moore (47) and Ashton Kutcher (32) entered the stage at 2:21 p.m. She wore a tight velvet dress and fur coat, he presented himself casually in jeans, jacket and hood,” wrote the OÖN tags thereon. “One could almost believe that something particularly important is about to happen in this mall. A separate press center has even been set up,” reported the editor Alexander Ritzinger with a wink from the important visitor from Hollywood.

The two actors briefly answered questions from ORF talker Vera Russwurm and the journalists present, “and they were gone after just three quarters of an hour.” The couple did not comment on the rumors of separation that had persisted at the time, and a year later Moore and Kutcher announced their separation after six years of marriage.
After a gala dinner including a charity auction and a poker tournament, Demi Moore and Ashton Kutcher left Linz again and traveled on to Moscow.
