Erich Wahl entered the state parliament

With the appointment of Michael Lindner as state councilor, Erich Wahl took over the vacant state parliament mandate on Thursday. The SPÖ district chairman will work in the state parliament as spokesman for culture, integration, human rights and extremism. “I’m looking forward to the new task. The areas for which I am responsible in the state parliament have been of great concern to me for many years. I will also be a loud mouthpiece for the Mühlviertel in the state parliament,” says the 59-year-old. Specifically, he wants to campaign for good medical care and the expansion of public transport. After the state elections in 2021, Erich Wahl gave up his mandate in favor of Michael Lindner. “Now we have an SPÖ member of parliament in the district again and even a member of the Mühlviertel as a member of the regional council,” said the SPÖ delegation from Perg, who had traveled to Linz.
