Word acrobats duel again in Röda

A must for lovers of powerfully eloquent performances is on the program just before Advent in the Röda cultural association: On Thursday, November 17, from 8 p.m., numerous word acrobats will once again compete for the attention of the audience at the third edition of the Steyr Poetry Slam. With this last performance of the year, the Wortwerkler association says goodbye to the Christmas break.

For those who have not followed the two previous events in Röda: A poetry slam is a poetry competition in which the participants compete for the attention of the spectators. Within six minutes they have to convince the audience jury with their self-written texts. No props or singing are allowed in the performance. The word acrobats offer the audience in the Röda a colorful variety of genres: whether funny, loud, quiet, lyrical, moody or something completely different – everything is allowed.
