When on the first Sunday in Advent (November 27; 6 p.m.) the stage lights go on in the Bruckmühle for the benefit concert “Fast Christmas” by the Big Brass & Rhythm Band Freistadt, then it is “almost” Christmas. As every year, the time until the festival will pass quickly: quickly or “almost”, as modern people from the Mühlviertel would say. However, the concert will not only be played “fast” (i.e. fast). Contemplative music will also be heard.
Not only almost certain, but quite certain singing guests from the region can be heard. Leonie Ecker, Miriam Etzlstorfer, Magdalena Zeiml, Ulrike Wurm-Weißenböck, David Bergsmann, Ronald Himmelbauer and Severin Renoldner provide the angelic vocal flourish.
The net proceeds of the evening will be donated to the Rotkreuz market in Hagenberg and the “social pot” of the Pregarten branch of the social service. All musicians waive a fee.
