The list of crimes that a gang of Upper Austrian youths between the ages of 13 and 15 is said to have committed is long: car robbery under threat with a fake gun, robbery, violent crime, burglary and violations of the Narcotics and Prohibition Act. After extensive investigations, police investigators brought the crimes with a 14-year-old Ukrainian from Urfahr area, a 15-year-old, a 13-year-old known to the office from the Kirchdorf district, a 13-year-old Romanian from Linz and a 13-year-old from the district Linz-Land in connection.
They are said to have committed the crimes in different counties from late September to early October. The young people were involved in various constellations in the individual crimes, but the 14-year-old Ukrainian and the 13-year-old from Kirchdorf are accused of all crimes.
With the stolen cars, the 13-year-old and 14-year-old made jaunts in Upper Austria, Lower Austria, Styria and even in East Tyrol. They massively exceeded the permitted maximum speeds.
The 14-year-old was arrested on October 31 in another robbery in the city of Linz and taken to the Linz prison.
