There has been a lot of discussion about a primary care center in Leonding, now it is almost a reality. The lease in the new Giwog building on the Harter Plateau was signed on Wednesday and the medical team is in place.
From spring 2023, the team of general practitioners Thomas Badhofer, Martin Reiter, Bernhard Züger and Simon Zlabinger and their team will be in the new practice rooms. In addition to all health insurance benefits, there is a wide range of physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, social work, psychotherapy and dietetics.
It is planned that in the group practice, which will free up capacity for new patients, the patients of Andreas Ferschner Huber will also be cared for. He recently retired.
“Important step”
The joy about the successful settlement is not only great for Giwog board member Wolfgang Modera, but also for Mayor Sabine-Naderer-Jelinek (SP). “We have also been feeling the lack of doctors in Leonding for some time. The opening of the primary care center on the Harter Plateau is an important step in further improving medical care in the city. I would like to thank everyone involved that the project could be implemented”, says Mayor Sabine Naderer-Jelinek (SP). It also emphasizes the location’s good public connections.
Incidentally, the new branch office of the citizen service in the Giwog building is also scheduled to open at about the same time as the primary care center.
