The balance of the night: three alcohol drivers – two of whom refused the alcohol test; three drug traffickers – one of whom refused to be presented to the medical officer; two drivers were driving without a valid driver’s license, the license plates of one vehicle were removed, two reports were submitted under the Narcotic Substances Act. A total of 45 notices were written and 47 executive mandates issued. One of the negative highlights was a trial driver’s license holder who was measured and reported at a speed of 162 km/h on the B309, Steyrer Straße.
Drug traffickers without a license
An incorrigible drug driver was also pulled out of circulation: around 8:40 p.m., a patrol noticed a car that was going much too fast. During the traffic control, the police officers found several symptoms in the 20-year-old that indicated a drug impairment. An alcohol test was negative. The 20-year-old refused the rapid drug test and clinical examination and was forbidden to continue driving. However, the driver’s license could not be taken from the man because he had to hand it in in mid-October. During a more detailed check, a small amount of narcotics was found on the suspect and seized. Ads to follow.
