The conference was characterized by informative specialist lectures. For example, frostbite was discussed by the district fire brigade doctor Matthias Kölbl. Main office administrator Patrick Voit spoke about accident mechanics and main office administrator Rosemarie Kaiser about suicide. The diving base 1 from Alkoven was also presented.

The fire brigade medical service (FMD) has tasks both in its own sphere of activity and to third parties. This includes, for example, ensuring medical, operational hygiene and psychological support for fire brigade members in the Upper Austrian fire brigade association. The tasks outside of one’s own sphere of activity are, for example, medical and psychological first aid up to handing over to rescue organizations and supporting the rescue organizations on site.
