The final verdict for a 29-year-old drug dealer last Thursday at the Regional Court in Linz was two years in prison. If the public prosecutor has his way, the Serb will soon be reunited with his two alleged accomplices, a 32-year-old and a 39-year-old. The men have to answer in court on Wednesday, they face a prison sentence of between one and 15 years.

The trio from Linz, two Serbs and one Austrian with Bosnian roots, has been under investigation for drug trafficking since the beginning of the year. At the end of July, the men were arrested, according to the police, they should have at least 12 kilos of cannabis and 100 grams of cocaine with a sales value of 120,000 or 10,000 euros sold in downtown Linz. The police were able to track down numerous buyers.

Searches in the suspects’ apartments showed that the dealers were probably even busier than the police suspected. In addition to smaller quantities of heroin and ecstasy, 200 grams of cocaine were also found there – the street value is 20,000 euros. Investigators were also able to secure several phones and cash from the drug sales.
