Twelve-year-old Steyrer competes at a World Cup for the first time

Since the weekend Finn Markovsky from Steyr has been preparing for his first participation in the World Trampoline Championships for juniors in Bulgaria. The top talent of ATV Steyr, who is only twelve years old, wants to reach the final of the top eight in the individual World Championships premiere at the competition taking place on Saturday in Sofia.

Markovsky has been an active jumper in the trampoline section of ATV Steyr for around six years. “Finn has taken part in international competitions five times so far, four of which he has jumped onto the podium,” says father Gerald Markovsky. Unfortunately, his son could not take part in the dubbing competition because there was no other Austrian in his age group. At the general state championships, the twelve-year-old six-time junior champion had recently won the vice state championship title with his older partner.
