Elon Musk is causing a stir with his latest Twitter post: The multi-billionaire’s tweet shows a picture of a woman in a provocative pose, whose intimate area is covered with the Twitter coat of arms. Behind it stands a clergyman in a robe, who prays to God, probably not to become weak. This is provided with the name “Donald Trump”. Musk wrote: “And lead us not into temptation!” – and probably wants to indicate that his Twitter platform should be something like a forbidden fruit for ex-US President Donald Trump.

The background: Trump was blocked from Twitter in January 2021 after his supporters stormed the Capitol in Washington. The reason for the blocking was the “risk of further incitement to violence,” Twitter said at the time. According to a survey of Twitter users recently launched by new boss Musk, Trump should be allowed to return to the short message service. Musk had long announced that he wanted to restore the ex-US President’s profile. But Trump (so far) prefers to use his self-founded channel “Truth Social” and said he “see no reason” to return to Twitter.
