At home in Waldhausen, the brothers, who have been impaired by spastic paralysis in their legs since birth, are due to have a wheelchair lift installed in their house. Of course, that costs a lot of money, which is why the Amstettner ice hockey cracks are helping out now: at tomorrow’s championship game in Lower Austria. National ice hockey league at 7.30 p.m. in the Amstettner ice rink, not only will the proceeds from the tickets and the club buffet be donated for the installation of the lift, but a large raffle will also be organised.
The prospects of winning that evening are not only great for the audience in the ice rink: The Amstettner Wolves swept away 12:2 (4:2, 2:0, 6:0) over EHC Tulln Hummels in the first league game of the still young season . The Mostviertler are also favorites against UEC “Dragons” Mödling, who played in the Vienna regional league last season.
