After eight years, the “Sugarfree” nightclub on the outskirts of Ried has had its day. In recent years, the bar has only been open to a very limited extent due to the corona pandemic, now there is a new start with the dance hall “Frieda”. Operator Thomas Altendorfer hopes for an atmosphere like at the “Ballermann” or in an après-ski bar. “It seems that young people no longer need a disco in the original sense. Nowadays people get to know each other differently, namely on the Internet. People prefer to celebrate privately or at parties,” says Altendorfer. He is therefore convinced that the opening of a dance and atmosphere venue for guests aged 18 and over has more future. “There are many current examples of something like this being very well received and working very well,” says Altendorfer.
The guests can expect a newly designed bar – a mix of dance hall and party barn. The classic target group is not teenagers, but adults of all ages. The new restaurant will open on Friday, December 2, from 8 p.m. Admission is free.
