Everything is possible! In the duel between Salzburg and Linz, it’s primarily about fourth place today. The master is currently claiming that for himself, the Steinbach Black Wings are one point behind. Overall, anything is possible this Sunday, from climbing to third place to falling to seventh place. Incidentally, the same applies to Salzburg.

Philipp Lukas changes lines

Because not everything has gone well for the Linzers recently and, above all, not enough energy could be developed offensively, coach Philipp Lukas is changing the offensive lines. Michael Haga, who was absent last week due to illness, has not yet been able to complete any training with the team. Its use therefore seems questionable. There is no doubt that the Norwegian is missing from the Black Wings offensive. On the defensive, Thomas Höneckl will guard the Upper Austrian goal today. The defender pairs are unaffected by the line rotation.

At least three fan buses planned

All three Black Wings fan clubs have announced a fan bus in Salzburg. The number of Linz annexes could be correspondingly large again today.

In the home game on Friday, the Black Wings were able to win again after two defeats in a row. A 3-2 win against Ljubljana after a penalty shootout. The Steinbach Black Wings were already 2-0 up thanks to goals from Marco Brucker and Brian Lebler, but still had to let the game get out of hand.

The Linzers wore special clothes that were sold after the game for a good cause. You can see pictures from the game in the following gallery:
