The trio had lured the 32-year-old from the Innviertel to the woman’s apartment in Gunskirchen last Monday, the police press office reported on Sunday.
Ambushed in the living room
In addition to his ex-wife, his new partner, a 22-year-old Syrian, and a friend of the couple (19), also from Syria, were waiting for him there. The two men, who live in Wels, had armed themselves with a jackknife and a pistol and ambushed the 32-year-old in the living room.
They beat the victim and threatened him with a knife and pistol. At gunpoint, they forced the shocked man to go to his car, which was parked in front of the house, and hand them money.
Cannabis and cocaine found
The next day, the police and the special unit Cobra moved to the crime scene. In addition to cannabis and cocaine, a black alarm pistol was also found in the woman’s apartment. Traces of blood were also found.
The three suspects were arrested by order of the Wels public prosecutor’s office and taken to the Wels prison. They were partially confessed to the allegations, the police said on Sunday.
