After twelve years, Norbert Trawöger is retiring from the management of the Wels gallery and community of artists “Die Forum”. He is succeeded as chairman by the journalist Isabella Minniberger, who lives in Wallern. Her passions include the visual arts, photography, music and theatre. Her deputy is the artist Antonia Riederer.
With its 90 members, “Die Forum” is one of the largest artists’ associations in Upper Austria, which over the past few decades has developed into one of the most vibrant and innovative communities as well as a venue for art in the heart of the province.
Wolfgang Maria Reiter, who has been committed to “Die Forum” for more than two decades, was appointed honorary chairman in the autumn. The annual exhibition “UND” can be seen in the gallery at Stadtplatz 8 until December 17th, in which more than 60 artists are taking part.
