Pupils built the house of Europe together

Together with the Tabor private high school in the Czech Republic, the BG/BRG Rohrbach was able to win the prize for the best cross-border partnership. The award-winning work is entitled “The Common House of Europe” and depicts a stylized house that was painted on a large, old map of Europe and whose individual rooms are “inhabited” by different basic European values, political objectives and achievements in a metaphorical representation.

400 students involved

About 400 lower school students worked on this project at both schools in the past school year, whereby only 21 drawings managed to “move into the common house of Europe”. The award ceremony took place in the ballroom of Charles University in Prague at a congress attended by prominent figures.
