Drug driver crashed into oncoming traffic with his car

A 49-year-old from the St. Pölten-Land district drove his car on Saturday at 8:15 p.m. in Waldneukirchen on the B122 from Bad Hall towards Sierning. At the same time, a 31-year-old from Bad Hall drove in the opposite direction. The Bad Haller got into the left lane and crashed head-on into the Lower Austrian’s car. The two vehicles were severely damaged, including the left front tire was ripped out. The two drivers were unharmed, alcohol tests were negative. However, since the police officers found the 31-year-old to have clear signs of an addictive drug impairment, they took him to a clinical examination. There, a doctor determined that there was an impairment caused by narcotic drugs. The driver’s license was provisionally taken from Bad Haller, it will be reported.
