Change in the management of Salzkammergut Touristik: Recently, Barbara Ahrer, not only her mother’s daughter, but also one incoming expert followed the other. The Bad Ischl family business, founded in 1994, is thus setting the course for the coming decades.
With Barbara Ahrer, a woman who grew up with her parents’ business takes over the helm. In the course of her career as a tourism expert, she attended the tourism school in Bad Ischl, completed a relevant degree and worked in well-known companies, including Lauda Air, Austrian Airlines and a company in the Verkehrsbüro Group, for which she was responsible for developing the market in the USA .
Mother Brigitte and father Franz Stumpner retire. “I’m happy that Barbara is taking over now,” says Brigitte Stumpner. “I could not have wished for a better and more competent successor for our customers and our team.”
Another novelty is the dual leadership with which Salzkammergut Touristik will operate in the future. While Barbara Ahrer manages the company strategically, financially, in terms of personnel and marketing, authorized signatory Peter Seebacher is responsible for the operational area and represents the company to the outside world.
