The 19-year-old is said to have cultivated cannabis between April and September of this year in an allotment garden settlement in Schlüsselberg (Grieskirchen district). To do this, he rented a small hut in which he set up two so-called “grow boxes” – facilities for growing marijuana that were specially equipped with lighting and irrigation systems. In all, he grew 13 plants and harvested the buds in five months.
He is said to have consumed the cannabis himself but also sold it. In the course of the investigation, the police were able to find out and report other possible customers. The accused confessed to self-consumption, the police said on Monday. After the investigation is complete, the young man is reported to the public prosecutor’s office.
