PEILSTEIN/ULRICHSBERG/LEMBACH. Bang effect in the construction industry in the district of Rohrbach: The traditional construction companies Resch from Ulrichsberg, Hehenberger from Peilstein and Kumpfmüller from Lembach will in future appear as a joint company on the market. The almost 500 employees were informed about this today Monday at a joint event. “Each of the three construction companies is well positioned on its own and can act from a position of strength. But together we have significantly better opportunities to take advantage of our market opportunities. We are therefore turning three strong companies into one big one for our customers and employees , powerful and attractive construction company,” explains Georg Kumpfmüller, sole owner of Kumpfmüller Bau and future shareholder and managing director of the new company.
“In order to be able to rethink building, it was clear to us that we could only achieve the full, lasting effect if we worked together in a company. And with a conscious use of our raw materials and the research and development of new construction methods and processes we want to advance our competence in ‘digital construction’ even further,” he says.
The merger of the three Mühlviertel flagship companies also creates opportunities and advantages for the entire workforce. “Through this merger, our employees will become a larger, stronger team with high development and training opportunities in the latest technologies currently available for construction. Of course, despite our growth, we will continue our family company culture. That is why we inform our employees about our from the beginning Vision and integrate it into our development process,” says Franz Wöss, sole owner of Hehenberger Bau – he too will be a shareholder and managing director of the new company in the future.
“We are a group that shares a vision. Because we know that together we can make the future better. That’s why we also warmly welcome other companies and trades if they want to go the new way of building with us,” explains Fritz Resch, co-owner of the Resch brothers Hoch- und Tiefbau and future shareholder of the new company.
Locations are retained
The operating locations in Lembach, Pfarrkirchen, Kollerschlag, Ulrichsberg and Peilstein will be continued in the name of the new joint company – this has yet to be found. “We have big plans and are rolling up our sleeves: All employees of the three construction companies will be taken on by the joint, new, large construction company.
No layoffs planned
What’s more, we will continue to strengthen ourselves in a targeted manner and continue to expand our team. “In the future we will continue to offer our entire well-known range from house builders to large industrial companies,” say Georg Altendorfer and Markus Obermüller, the two other managing directors of the new company. The brand name of what is now the largest construction company in the upper Mühlviertel will be announced by the beginning of summer 2023. Until then, nothing will change organizationally for the partners of the three companies. fur
