Several settlements of office and business premises have already accompanied the conversion of the Pregartner town square this year. Before the turn of the year, Pregartner’s gastronomy is also to receive a powerful boost: the traditional Pregartner Stadtkeller will be reopened with a New Year’s Eve party. With Ramazan Karadeniz – better known in the region as “Zotti” – an experienced restaurateur will breathe new life into the unique vault.
“In love with the Stadtkeller”
In the Stadtkeller, Karadeniz wants to offer his guests mainly down-to-earth home cooking combined with specialties from the Italian kitchen. The preparatory work for the opening is already in full swing. “Zotti” pays a lot of attention to the installation of a show kitchen in which the boss will cook personally. “I fell in love with the Stadtkeller a few years ago. Unfortunately Corona got in the way. But now we want to get off to a flying start in Pregarten,” says the restaurateur, who is known in the district capital of Freistadt as the lessee of the restaurant and kiosk in the bathing facility.
One person who is particularly pleased about the forthcoming reopening is Pregarten’s Mayor Fritz Robeischl: “With the relaunch of the Stadtkeller, the positive trend in the city center continues. We were able to celebrate a handful of new openings in the center this year. The new entrepreneurs see a lot of potential in our region”. In the past few months, the companies “Sonne, Strom & Wärme”, “RE/MAX Sky”, the “Touching Moments” massage studio, the “Xund und Vital Shop” and the company “Nautikuss” have already opened in Pregartner city centre.
