Unknown people had set off a firecracker on Krautbergstrasse shortly before 4:30 a.m. The phone booth was almost completely destroyed by the detonation, parts were thrown up to 15 meters away. A car and the cable TV connection cover of a house were also damaged. According to the broadcast on Sunday, information is requested from the Amstetten Police Inspectorate (Tel. 059-133-3100).
“According to the current state of investigation, no people were injured by the detonation,” said the Lower Austria state police department. The amount of property damage was not known for the time being.
