“If someone had told me in 2019 that we wouldn’t be able to invite people to the next New Year’s Eve Run in Münster until three years later, I wouldn’t have believed it,” says organizer Sonja Hochhold. Three years ago, 179 starters took part in the seven-kilometre run – a new participant record.
Hochhold is prepared for a renewed onslaught of participants. “We know from the other ‘Innviertel runs’ events that people are motivated again. We are too – everything else will show. Having fun is the focus of our New Year’s Eve run, and we will continue to do so in the future. I I am convinced that the 17th edition of our event will again write many new stories and anecdotes,” says the organizer.
The Nordic walkers start at 1.30 p.m. in the gymnasium of the middle school, and the runners start at 2 p.m. Information and registration online at www.muensterer-silvesterlauf.at
Online registrations are possible until December 30th. Late registrations are valid on the day of the race up to half an hour before the start. There is no entry fee, a voluntary donation is requested.
