For three years, the Graz architect Markus Pernthaler chaired the design advisory board. The 93rd meeting of this body was now its last. “Your manner was very much appreciated,” said Mayor Markus Vogl in farewell roses. Pernthaler’s opinion has advanced many projects in Steyr.
When saying goodbye, there were concerns about two of the three projects submitted. The recommendations for a facility with 16 apartments planned on Kammermayrstraße range from relocating the 24 parking spaces underground to installing PV panels on the roof and moving the building. The relocation of parts was also recommended for the Fischhub semi-detached house for eight units, and sealing should also be reduced.
Only the Staffelmayr complex on Kegelprielstraße with 23 residential units received the approval of the design advisory board. It was suggested that the project be expanded to include a photovoltaic system.
