The new president is the primary neurologist at the Steyr State Hospital, Michael Guger. Among other things, he has organized the annual interdisciplinary MS talks in Linz and Steyr since 2009.
Primar Tim J. von Oertzen retires after ten years as President. The MS Society looks after 800 members in Upper Austria. Lejla Smajlovic and Senior Physician Hamid Assar, among others, were elected to other functions. Jasmine Cichlinski, who is the first contact person on the MS telephone, is also new to the team as secretary.
