A 33-year-old from the Urfahr area, who was traveling from Walding towards Gramastetten, lost control of his car around eight in the morning. The car veered off the L1508 to the left and touched several control devices before crashing into a tree and coming to a halt with severe damage.
Red Cross forces freed the injured driver from the demolished vehicle and took him to a hospital after first aid. The Gramastetten fire brigade carried out the vehicle recovery and the clean-up work.
