Jakob Winter will talk about how he got the opportunity to help orphans in Kenya through the “Go Fishnet” initiative in a lecture next Tuesday (7 p.m.) at the Green Belt Center Windhaag.
The young Mühlviertler spent two months in Kenya and can pass on all sorts of exciting, funny and sad incidents from this time. “The two months between poverty, grateful children’s laughter, tropical weather and a completely different culture were very formative,” says Winter about his stay. He is now looking forward to passing on his experiences and continuing to support the “Go Fishnet” project. In Kenya, the association primarily supports orphans and people in need. With support in the areas of education, income, agriculture and health, people are able to lead a better life.
After the lecture there is still time for questions from the audience and a chat at the buffet. The proceeds of this evening will be donated to “Go Fishnet”.
