This is the result of a study by Marketagent on behalf of the Tiled Stove Association. 500 participants were surveyed online.
The preferred form of heating for 32.2 percent is a photovoltaic or solar system, followed by tiled stoves (27.2), district heating (23.8), wood/pellets/wood chips (22.2) and heat pumps (21.4). According to the survey, oil and gas heating systems rank at the lower end.
The situation is different with the forms of heating currently in use. Here, district heating (30.4 percent) leads ahead of gas (26.4), wood/pellets/wood chips (22.2), heat pumps (11.4) and oil (10.6). The rest is distributed among PV systems, tiled stoves and other systems.
It is striking that for those who want a tiled stove, comfort is the priority, says Thomas Schiffert, Managing Director of the Austrian Tiled Stove Association.
