According to the municipal council decision, beneficiaries whose neediness has been checked by the social welfare office will receive a 100 euro subsidy for heating costs, half of the costs of their children’s school events will be reimbursed and no handicraft fee will be charged in the kindergarten. In the event of crises, such as impending power cuts, Mayor Kerstin Suchan (SP) can arrange for emergency aid to be paid out immediately up to 500 euros.
