You start with the farm building. The planning has been completed, and there are already many containers in the barracks. Among other things, a temporary kitchen and dining tent will be set up. Around 40 million euros are earmarked for the modernization of the barracks.
Multiple demands: Professional soldiers from the Rieder Panzergrenadier Battalion will lead a multinational unit in Bosnia from March to September 2023. In addition, soldiers from Ried will be on assistance missions at the border in Burgenland – for three months from the turn of the year and for a further three months in summer.
