After 46 years, Josef Sperr recently took his leave of absence before officially retiring in February. For almost half a century, Sepp was a pillar in the family business.
Josef Sperr, who grew up in Haslau, began working at Neuhofer-Holz 46 years ago when it was still a sawmill with 20 employees. After the sawmill was closed, he was taken on by the strip factory (today FN Neuhofer), where he built up the logistics.
Visibly touched, Franz Neuhofer sen. Josef Sperr’s performance: “Thank you, Sepp, for 46 years of support, your loyalty and your great work.” The Neuhofer family and all colleagues wish him the very best. The neo-retiree is looking forward to spending time with his family and friends: “I certainly won’t get bored,” said Sperr.
