The team of voluntary Red Cross employees in Sierning baked diligently: 96 different cakes were offered for the “Cake for a voucher” campaign day. Numerous donors and supporters came on the second weekend in Advent and donated vouchers for the Rotkreuz market in Sierning.
As a thank you, each supporter could take a cake with them. In total, a considerable amount of over 3800 euros was raised this weekend.
The parish of Grünburg and Sierninghofen/Neuzeug, the Goldhauben Waldneukirchen and the Catholic women’s movement Sierning also took part in the campaign. “The joy of the lively participation of the population is enormous; we are proud of our cohesion, the commitment and thanks to this campaign we can now stock up on our goods in the market again,” says Hermine Schmied on behalf of the entire Rotkreuz market team in Sierning.
