The young woman should be on the B148 in St. Peter am Hart (Braunau district) did not notice several trucks in oncoming traffic and started to overtake. A truck driver was initially able to prevent a collision. However, the driver of the truck following behind was not – after the impact, she was thrown to the left directly in front of another truck and a second collision occurred. The 25-year-old was also thrown against the opposite guardrail, as the police reported. She was trapped in the vehicle, had to be freed by the fire department and taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
