The 37-year-old doctor was born in Vienna but grew up in Freistadt, where he lives with his wife, also a doctor, and their two children, aged five and eight.
After community service as a paramedic with the Red Cross, Sebastian Jülg studied medicine in Graz. He completed his training as a general practitioner and specialist in gynecology and obstetrics at the Kepler University Hospital in Linz and at the Freistadt Clinic. Since December 2020 he has been working as a senior physician at the Freistadt Clinic. His professional focus is on obstetrics and urogynaecology. Jülg succeeds Peter Neuner as the new primary, who will retire from the clinic in January but will continue to run his private practice in Freistadt.
