So the Finn will remain a part of the Steinbach Black Wings beyond the season.
In the elaborately produced Christmas video you can see Tironen, his wife Ellen and his daughter at home on the couch. Papa Rasmus gives the little daughter a gift containing a children’s book from which he reads her. But it’s best to see for yourself:
Rasmus Tirronen extends in Linz until 2025
After 17 games, Tirronen has a catch rate of 91.9 percent and is currently third in the league-wide goalkeeper ranking together with ex-Linz goalie David Kickert (Salzburg) and Olivier Roy (Fehervar).
Well-informed sources say that talks with other players are going well and that another contract extension – also until 2025 – is to be announced soon.
