Tricky avalanche situation
The avalanche released shortly after 12.30 p.m. on the Tiefenbachferner near the mountain station in the open ski area. In the Tyrolean mountains, the avalanche danger for winter sports enthusiasts on Sunday was considered delicate. The avalanche warning service pointed out that the snow cover was highly susceptible to disruption, and the probability of avalanches was high.
