The state is extending the Upper Austria. Local supply program until the end of 2023 and at the same time makes it easier for grocers, butchers, bakers, confectioners or restaurateurs to access an investment subsidy.
Because in the future, investments for the construction, expansion or modernization of the business premises will be funded from 10,000 euros instead of 15,000 euros. Only food retailers with a full range are funded.
In 2022, the state supported 159 local supply companies with a total funding of almost 2.2 million euros.
