The skier was hit in the face with a fist, resulting in serious injuries. The skier and two companions then fled, the police informed.
The 27-year-old and the unknown skier collided shortly after 12 p.m. on ski slope no. 200, the collision occurred a few meters below the Kriegerhorn mountain station. After an initially verbal argument between the four men, two of the skiers hit the snowboarder.
According to the police, a 23-year-old skier was involved in the collision, his two companions were described as 25 and between 50 and 55 years old. All three wore a stubbly beard, the eldest wore a white jacket and black trousers. Information is requested to the Lech Police Inspectorate (Tel. 059133-8105).
