The Trachtenmusikkapelle Bad Leonfelden invites you to a musical start to the year 2023 tomorrow, January 1st: at 4 p.m. the spa town version of the New Year’s concert will take place in the “Haus am Ring”. This is not quite as sophisticated as the one a few hours earlier in the Wiener Musikverein, but it can almost keep up in terms of program: with the piece “Greetings from Vienna” by Robert Stolz, there is a bridge to the federal capital on the musical “menu plan right at the beginning “. Highlights such as “Leichte Kavallerie” by Franz von Suppe and melodies from the Strauss era enrich it in the episode, as does the piece “No one loves you like me” by Franz Lehar, in which Carina Hohner and the musical doctor Alexander Gallee acted as vocal soloists will be on stage. Other highlights of the program include works by Julius Fucik, John Powell and Lew Pollack as well as a journey into the world of musicals, which begins with Alan Menken’s “Beauty and the Beast”. The musical direction of the concert, which is supported by the municipality and the Mühlviertler Hochland tourism association, is in the hands of the conductors Martin and Christian Dumphart, with Teresa Haudum moderating. Admission is free.
