A police spokesman said two cars had collided. The exact course of the accident and the cause were initially just as unclear as the identity of those affected. The people were trapped in the accident wreck, according to the Tyrol control center.
For two occupants, any help came too late, they succumbed to their serious injuries at the scene of the accident. The seriously injured were taken to nearby hospitals. A major alarm had been raised in the Reutte district. According to the control center, the emergency doctor helicopter “Christoph Munich” was also used to provide support.
