The native of Salzburg, who has been running the McDonald’s location at Linz’s Taubenmarkt since April 2022, is taking over his second restaurant in Upper Austria. Franchisee Karl Zollhuber (61), who previously managed the location and is now handing it over to his colleague, will concentrate on his existing four locations in the future. The biggest challenge remains finding employees. Jäger also wants to score here in Rohrbach with flexible part-time models.
“My concern is to enable a pleasant working culture for my employees – with flexible duty rosters and individual framework conditions in order to be able to optimally combine family and work,” summarizes the entrepreneur.
Franchisee Karl Zollhuber wishes his successor every success: “I would like to thank my employees for their great work over the years.” The trained restaurateur, who continues to run the McDonald’s restaurants in Enns, Freistadt, Mauthausen and Unterweitersdorf, started his McDonald’s career more than 30 years ago as a supervisor before taking over his role as a franchisee in April 1998.
