Luckily, only the Leonstein fire brigade was needed yesterday around 7 a.m. to clean up after a traffic accident. A car driver had nodded off at the wheel in a right-hand bend and crashed his car into an oncoming bus.
Nobody was injured in the crash, but the body damage was enormous. To do this, the firefighters had to bind up leaking operating materials from the vehicles. The emergency services also had the task of pushing the damaged, unroadworthy bus a hundred meters to the next bus stop.
