Antonia looks the movie stars straight in the eye

A theater course at school sparked acting fever in 12-year-old Antonia from Mauthausen. Since then, she not only enjoys rehearsing roles for performances and playing them in front of an audience. Learning longer texts and dialogues is also not a problem for the Mühlviertler schoolgirl.

The fact that she is naturally also very interested in films as a result of her enthusiasm for acting led the Mauthausen resident to the decision to report to the TV show “Klein gegen Groß”. In the opening show for the year 2023, which will be shown in the main evening program on ORF 1 next Saturday, the twelve-year-old draws attention to herself by recognizing actors solely by their eyes. She wants to be better than her adult opponent, the actor Christoph Maria Herbst. In front of a peep box on the big television stage, the two compete in an exciting duel under the guidance of moderator Kai Pflaume.

When Antonia is not devoting herself to acting, she likes to go skiing or regularly attends a dance school in Linz. She also satisfies her urge to move by cycling or doing strenuous gymnastic exercises. What can’t she do? Sit still!

In addition to Antonia and Christoph Maria Herbst, football world champion Bastian Schweinsteiger and his wife, tennis star Ana Ivanovic, Wimbledon winner Angelique Kerber, singer Max Giesinger and actors Tobias Moretti, Diana Amft and Heino Ferch will be there. They all faced a wide variety of knowledge and acrobatic duels with their young challengers. (live)
